There are some images of burn victims's skin. If that kind of thing bothers you you might not want to watch. It's nothing too terrible. Just wanted to warn the squeamish EFers.

Pretty amazing stuff. This got me thinking, for those of us who were circumcised, if they ever developed this to restore your foreskin, would you want it back?

These kind of advances in technology give me hope that someday in the near future stem cell therapy will be available for those of us with MS, as well as a multitude of other chronic conditions.

You have made my day! Thanks for posting this. I can't wait to share it with my family.

I'm glad you liked it. It always amazes me to see advances in stem cell research; its growing so fast. If I could do stem cell research that would be my dream job.

This kind of stuff is why I voted for stem cell research. The possibilities are limitless. I want to one day see more than just skin being grown through stem cells. I hope to see people getting the organs they need replaced.

Pretty interesting what they are doing. I always thought it was a little lame how only people on the organ list could donate their organs to people who needed them so badly. I hope to see this in my life time.

There is a researcher that has a device that takes fat from liposuction and creates stem cells that can be used for breast repair (after mastectomy) and even for repairing damaged heart muscles.

This device is so versatile because it does not involve any embryonic cells and returns cells from the beneficiaries own body - avoiding any possibility of rejection. There was a large article in WIRED magazine on the researcher and the device about 3-4 months ago.

Amazing technology that's being developed. I hope this can help a lot of people... especially the little kids that are severely burned.
