so, i've gone way overboard w/ the organizing & planning for this semester. i really want straight A's this semester, & it's my last chance to do it (missed it last semester by making all A's & a C). i bought a large planner for scheduling when to have parts of projects done by, due dates, tests & finals, & appointments & important dates outside of school, an agenda for homework assignments, due dates, tests & finals, & other stuff related to classes, i use the calendar on my phone for appointments & finals w/ an alarm that goes off 30 min before i have to be there, & i put together a workout & eating schedule w/ classes in there so i can see when it would be easiest for me to go to the gym & when i can get school stuff done (trying to lose weight this semester, otherwise i wouldn't even bother w/ this). i'm ADHD, so i have to do my best to keep a schedule & stay organized (w/ a little help from my medication). what do you do to keep yourself organized? how do you keep up w/ schedules & stuff, b/c that's gonna be the hardest part for me. i organize myself at the beginning of every semester & a little throughout (although, not to this extent before), but end up tossing it all to the wind at some point. i need suggestions to keep myself organized & actually follow through w/ plans & schedules.

I think getting into a routine is important, maybe studying at the same time each day. You have to try and stick with things until they become a habit which may take a few weeks. Try and ease into it too, you don't need to micromanage every second of your day in your planner because you will likely get burnt out on it quickly.
I usually make a priority list when I study. I usually don't get everything done, but it helps me stay on track and I at least get the most important stuff done that way.

that's a good idea, & i don't use the planner to micromanage everyday, it just has notes on days that i want to have something done by. this way i don't do everything at the last min. i have a major semester long project in every class that counts for the majority of my grade, so i can't do them all at the last min.

I am a little OCD and like to plan and organize everything. I think the best thing is to get into a routine to where you do the most important things everyday so that they never get left out and all the little things will follow in line!
