I'm Polish and we have a bit of a reputation too Personally I drink very little - I'm a lightweight and alcohol just makes me slow and sleepy. I like to drink half a beer or some wine during dinner but that's all.

I'm not a fan of St. Patrick's Day for historical reasons (religious intolerance anyone?)

But I'm all for all-day parties and corned beef, so it all balances out (until someone tries to kick me out of my country).

I end up not drinking on St. Pat's Day, even though I sometimes go to the local Irish pub (and I'm Irish). It's more about the food for me. And the Irish punk bands and step dancing.
