I've always been curious what connection, if any, there is between masochism and the enjoyment of (painfully) spicy foods, so here we go!

I like mildly spicy foods, nothing so hot it burns for days

I love spicy foods, I'm not a masochist though.

I don't mind spicy foods, I don't really like or dislike them. And I'm not a masochist.

Pretty sure there is no correlation.

Some spice is OK-I still like to be able to taste the food.

I don't consider myself a full blown "masochist." However, I do like intense sensation during sex, spanking and large toys and a large man etc.
I HATE spicy food. I don't like my food to hurt me.
A lot of people think bottoms or subs or masochists like all kinds of pain, but it simply isn't true. Nobody likes banging their elbow or stubbing their toes or breaking something or suffering through any kind of non-sexual body pain. It's the context of the sensation that matters.
When I eat, I like my food to be comforting, occasionally slightly adventurous but not to hurt or harm me.

I like spicy food sometimes, but I wouldn't want to eat it for every meal.

I can't eat spicy food it does a number on me.

For the record, I totally get the fact that being a masochist does NOT mean that a person likes all sorts of pain, especially in non-sexual contexts. I was just curious as to whether there was any sort of correlation between the enjoyment of sexual pain and the enjoyment of what I guess you might call "culinary pain." So far though, the poll doesn't seem to such much of a connection

I like some spicy foods, just not the hard core ones.

I don't like spicy food and not a masochism.

I enjoy very spicy and flavorful food, but I'm not insane and I don't eat the type of painfully spicy food that Adam Richman eats in his Man vs Food Hellfire Challenges, so I don't consider myself a masochist.

Everyone has different sensitivity to spicy foods. The people who go heavy are not having the same experience as people who cant handle them. Just saying... I don't think being masochistic aligns with your taste buds.

I adore spicy foods, but I don't think I ever made the connection between sex and the way I enjoyed it.
