I've come across a certain type of cake in my area called "spice cake" It's basically carrot cake without the carrots. It's definitely my favorite type of cake. Someone who makes a good carrot cake can almost not tell the difference between carrot and spice cake. I was wondering if anyone else has had this cake, or if it's just around my area.

Spice cake is actually my favorite kind of cake! I love carrot as well too.

It's so good! On my lazy days, I'll make cookies out of cake mix and spice cake mixes make the best cookies.

It's delicious. The other day I made moist pumpkin bread using Spice cake mix, a can of pumpkin, and 1/2 cup of water. It was a big hit.

I LOVE spice cake/pumpkin cake, but I don't like carrot cake as much. I especially love spice cake during the holidays.
