With a generation now steeped in these things, are any of you out there really worried about such things, in a corner of your mind, that they might be "real", and not just silly entertainment value?

(Yes, I believe there are aliens out there in space...plenty of them. Just as we are alien to them. However, I don't think they are visiting folks with a few too many beers out in the woods. The distances between planets is just too darned far). Zombies, Vampires...etc. Ummmmmm....nope. Sorry.

Personally I'm terrified of aliens. When I was young I watched the movie Signs and well it pretty much scarred me for life. It took years for me to just be able to sleep in my own bed again and not be terrified that aliens were gonna come get me lol... Even now whenever my friends make me watch anything involving aliens (like Dark Skies) I still get really scared, almost petrified lol...

Uh no worries about zombies here.
However, given the militarization of the police across the nation and their propensity to serve no knock warrants on the wrong house, I am moderately concerned about Officer Psycho.
I read somewhere that the regular citizen is eight times more likely to be killed by the police than a terrorist.
