Shoes ON or SHOES OFF...not for sex, but to DANCE????

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
We go dancing a lot now. Still taking Swing, Beach and Ballroom Dance. We notice MOST ladies take their shoes off to dance. A few guys do too (wearing sox). However, I have found GREAT dance shoes that really work great..and are comfy and sexy looking (slight heel),and I wear those.

Do you "kick off your shoes" or "lace up the dancing shoes" when it is time to "cut a rug" (Go dancing)????? ?

For Swing and Ballroom, shoes ON. For Folkloric/Ethnic Dances, shoes OFF.

I/We don't dance often (we still laugh about how we danced at prom, and were surprised our "first dance" at our wedding went smoothly), but I kicked my shoes off for both. The guests applauded when I did that at the wedding! lol

I start with them on, but by the end of the night they come off. I love to dance and spend most of my time on the dance floor.
