Sometimes I think I'm the only one who doesn't use shaving gel or cream!

Shaving gel. I've tried soap before and it just didn't work for me.

I use an Intuition razor with the built on cream bar. I guess that's what you'd call it. Best razor I've had the experience of using.

I always use shaving cream. Soap just gives me razor burn too badly.

Dove beauty bar works fine for me!

I use my body wash, so I went with soap on the poll. I use Philosophy body wash which is super creamy and lathers up really well so it works nicely as a shaving soap.

Most soaps irritate me. Ive tried tons that even claim to be hypoallergenic. So I just use water.

Shaving cream. Unless I run out and haven't gone to the store yet, then I will use hair conditioner.
11/08/2011
I always use hair conditioner. It's cheaper and there's one less bottle in the shower to contend with.

I use Iviscents soap, and it lathers pretty thick to use as a shaving cream almost. I can actually write in it. Still, I'm thinking I should use something designed for shaving. My skin gets pretty dry in Winter.

I use hair conditioner. Makes the hair and skin softer than anything I've used thus far.
11/08/2011
I never thought to use hair conditioner! I use Dove soap, too...
11/08/2011
Either plain water or my body wash. I used to use a shaving cream, but it really doesn't make a difference in the outcome so I go with nothing or something I'm already using to save some money.

Shaving gel, and sometimes my soap/body wash. I've never used conditioner, but have heard several people here mention it, so that's something I'll have to try!

Shave gel that turns into a cream.....it's not expensive for me because I rarely shave my legs. Lol. I use bar soap for shaving my pits.
11/08/2011
I use the purple creamy kind of Herbal Essences shampoo. Its kind of slimy (for lack of a better word), which makes it great for shaving.
11/08/2011
I just use water. I used to use shave creams, but it never made enough of a difference to justify the $ spent on them.
11/08/2011
i used shaving gel for a while, but it's cheaper to just use soap.
11/08/2011
Any lathering soap will do... I like using body scrubs because they exfoliate before you shaves so there's no razor burn, but I've used normal soap too.

Soap

I just use shower gel or hair conditioner.

i love shaved cremes mostly gel ,,but if i don't have that the soap works well
11/09/2011
I use either shaving cream or gel. I have tried conditioner and body wash, but that irritates my legs.
11/09/2011
I occasionally will buy shave cream for my legs but usually soap works just fine for me.
11/09/2011
I just shave while i'm in the shower, i must not have sensitive skin.
11/09/2011
I very rarely shave my legs (once every 2 months, if I feel like it) but when I do, I use conditioner as shaving gel dries the fuck out of my skin.
11/09/2011
All depends on what I have on hand! Sometimes I will use just plain water, or I'll use a cream or gel. Sometimes I use body wash, too.
11/09/2011
Mine's usually just water.

I use hair conditioner to shave my legs, pubes and arm pits. Works so well and is inexpensive and readily available.
