I think we all love a little bit of Flair, Stormy. Thank you for the post here, though! Good to know it's at least getting looked at.

I am glad I saw this. As someone fairly new I hadn't stumbled across the Best Practices link before. It just added "search the forum first" as a rule I hadn't thought of as obvious as it now seems. I know I'm probably guilty of a repetitive post or two just from neglecting to do that.

Well like if it's something that's a current hot topic in the news but has been discussed before, sure start a new post.

Pizza toppings? We have a thousand threads like this. It doesn't mean they aren't fun but when you see five new posts like that in a month, it starts to feel like deja vu.

Wanted to put this back at the top since I have been seeing a lot of new just random post back to back.
Yea points are great, but due to people doing random post, the maybe more important post are being pushed in the dirt.

I do that as well. Some posts just seem a bit "silly" to me, or just lame. Good advise is worth time & effort to compose.

But if it's something relevant to anything current or something new has come out for it, I'll post a topic if the old thread is over 6 months old and hasn't had any activity in at least a month.
At least I try to do that. less

I normally don't use forums because I'm terrible at staying active. Sometimes I tend to be guilty of repetitive posts as well. Thank you for the nice reminder. It really helps a newbie like me.

Thanks everyone for being amazingly awesome, as always.
