Do you own any real fur items? Are they inherited or bought? This discussion is not meant to delve into the ethics of fur, just wondered if people still have them, buy them, and wear them.
Real Fur: Would you wear it?

No. If I inherited anything made of real fur I'd get rid of it. I have very strong feelings about real fur.

No, I don't have any, but not because of any ethical objections (I'm neither vegetarian nor vegan and I don't see a material distinction between killing animals for food and doing so for clothing). I probably wouldn't buy any real fur items largely because of the social stigma that tends to surround them.

No, I don't have anything made of real fur... Honestly, I'm a little creeped out by it. My mother's got an old mink wrap or something, left by my great-grandmother, and all I think when I see it is "Ew, dead furry thing..."

I had a fox jacket given to me by my ex-sister-in-law long time ago, it was very warm and nice, but a hassle to upkeep and I gave it back to her.

No. I'm very morally opposed to it. If it was given to me I'd give it away or donate it. Aside from moral issues, I find it tacky.

I have some. My grandfather used to work with fur and leather so my grandmother would get things cheap. I might get some fur, but it'd definitely have to be nice and that would be pricey and I just don't have the money to spare. And I wouldn't go fur crazy, but a nice coat can be useful or a fur trimmed cape.

I think it is tacky. Even fake fur. I can't see wearing ever! I'm not vegan or anything like that either.

I don't care for the look of it, so I would say no. If I lived in Siberia or somewhere where it made sense, then sure, as long as I knew that the company it came from is ethical in how it obtains the fur.

I dont have any because they just would not look good on me. My wife does not have any because she does not like the look, but loves the feel. But I would have no problem wearing real fur. I know alot of people do, but I dont.

I have no problem with fur - or leather. In fact I'm a big fan.

I avoid real fur like the plague but I absolutely love leather.
It's a little quirk that I'm pretty sure I inherited from my mom, but the smell of leather is one of my favorite scents ever.
I sort of feel bad for the cows, but I could never be a vegetarian and I don't think I'll ever stop liking leather.
I do like faux fur though, I don't mind wearing items made with that so long as it's not the crummy kind that sheds everywhere.
