Do you prefer a real or fake Christmas tree?

Which one did you get this year? I got a real one but didn't realize that it needs water. Lol

Screw Christmas. However, I did put up our dinky lil $10 Charlie Brown tree this year. Just purple lights... no ornaments. I don't have time for that.

A fake one is more convenient.

I prefer a fake one. Real trees are sticky, and might have bugs, and they drop needles everywhere. Fake ones come in all shapes and sizes and colors, and some even come pre-lit! Much easier that way.

I prefer fake. I'm so paranoid about insects on real trees.

Fake. Less of a fire hazard. One time payment. Easy to get rid of/take down.

I like real but definitely prefer fake! Easier to set up, less time spent out in the cold, my puppy isn't as interested in peeing on it or drinking the water (since a fake tree doesn't even need water), etc. etc.

Real! I love the smell of a real tree. Where I celebrate Christmas, the weather isn't very Christmas-y so I need all the little things to get me in the holiday spirit.
