Yes and no. I'm happy with Obama but my local elections didn't turn out the way I wanted.

I'm glad Obama is going to remain in office.

Yes with Obama, yes that Mourdock lost (candidate who said that rape and resulting pregnancies are "what God intended"), no to who won our governor race.

I lost interest when Ron Paul didn't get the Republican nomination. Obama and Romney have far more in common than they have differences between them.

I think Obama did the best he could with what he had. With a little more cooperation from the Republicans a lot more could have been accomplished.

I am pleased. I'm glad Romney didn't win. There is still a ton of work to be done. I feel America chose the lesser of two evils.

I didn't exactly want Obama again, but I feared Romney and would MUCH rather have Obama, so yes, I am happy with the way the elections went.

I'm very pleased with the election results. Not only is Obama back in office, but my state passed the marriage equality bill (a really big deal for me). Also Akin (legitimate rape), Mourdock (similar comments), and a couple of other jerks have been defeated by female senators, one of whom is openly gay. I feel women are finally getting closer to equal representation in the government, and that the country has taken a big step forward.

Still plenty of work to do though, and I remain cautiously optimistic.

Nationally and locally, I'm satisfied. It could certainly have turned out better, and the reality of the situation a year from now may feel like a letdown, but I feel general optimism about these results right now.

I'm happy with most things. I'm glad Romney lost and I'm glad that WA passed Ref. 74, legalizing marriage equality. I, like Deltalima, am not too happy that I-502 passed, legalizing marijuana. I'm not against legalization, but I-502 was one crappy piece of legislation that is really going to screw up some people's lives because of the restrictions and consequences.
