Price point for Eden Classifieds?

Contributor: Tori Rebel Tori Rebel
I can't find a forum heading for Eden Classifieds so I'm posting this here.

I have 2 of the original Barnes & Noble Nooks, both brand new in the boxes. I know what they retail for and I have no use for them and to avoid ebay fees and make things as simple as possible, I might put them on Eden Classifieds. My question is, what would be an appropriate price point for them? I know I can't expect retail but I'm not an e-reader person at all so I'm not sure what people are willing to pay for them.

Maybe half retail? If they're not a few generations behind, you should be able to get that for something brand new never opened.

You could always ask a price but also offer "or best offer."

I'd ballpark it with that website named after the river in south america.

I check various websites to see how much they're going for used and in similar condition.

Or... I just go with my gut and set a price I'd be happy with if it's not common enough for good comparisons.

That's pretty much what I was going to recommend.

Um, I'd say knock 30% off what they are retail and list them. Mention that you'd be willing to negotiate prices, too, because then people will ask and you can haggle as necessary.
