As for vodka -- very nasty experience when I had way too much orange juice + vodka and even a few years later, I STILL cannot stand vodka! It ruined me.

Vodka, rum, tequila, whiskey, in that order. Vodka is so versatile, rum I like to drink straight, tequila makes my clothes fall off and whiskey if I want to get drunk quick.

Tequila for margaritas or on the rocks. Rum and coke. Brandy for red stag lemonade. Hard cider and wine too. I will try anything though.

Gin and tonic with a twist of lime is my old standby. I prefer mixed drinks (so yes to rum, vodka, tequila, etc) but occasionally enjoy a good cognac or single malt.

One of the best drinks is Pomegranate Vodka and Cranberry Juice.

I like to drink good whiskey, rum and tequila straight. Nothing beats good Scotch or Bourbon. I don't drink much, but I always enjoy sipping something really good.
