I have just set it up and now some things look annoying... ^^
Do you prefer to have your computer hooked up to the tv? :D

I've occasionally plugged my Macbook in to watch an online movie on my flat screen. Despite the setup being very easy, I don't like doing it simply because I'm a habitual googler. It's kinda sad how devoted I am to that computer!

I do not have my computer hooked up to my tv, but I wish I did...

Sometimes! For some gaming, I've found that it really really slows down the game, and the bigger screen isn't worth it. It's nice for watching streams, though.

Voted other because I have never had any reason to hook my computer to my TV. To make things bigger? I wouldn't need to do that. My laptop is HUGE. Lol. It's an entertainment PC. Also, wonderful for my no-good eyeballs.

You have to adjust some of the settings either on the computer or TV (depends on how it's hooked up - let me know if you need help figuring this out my guy is a pro at this lol) so the picture will look right.
We have his computer hooked up to the 44" flat screen so his video games look cooler. I am using a much smaller monitor to watch movies and TV on that suddenly sounds terrible lol.
But we prefer it that way lol. We do watch movies though by downloading and streaming, which was initially why we hooked it up that way. Til we saw how darn cool action games looked on it

My friend did this with her laptop last time I visited her and we played some scary freeware games. Made everything that much creepier. I wouldn't bother normally, though.

I like to hook it up but only for movies/anime. But now my cable is broken, well... *sigh*

I use it as an extension of my monitor and usually end up just using it for media while I do work on the laptop so I can run downloaded files like movies easily on a big screen.

We've got our PC and cable box both hooked up to the same 40-something inch screen, and we love it! It especially comes in handy when we're watching something on Netflix.

I can't get the darn cord to work since getting a desktop so I quit. I used to all the time with my laptop though.

No, unless watching movies.

I think it depends on what the site you are going to use. I have never done it before.

I voted other because i used to but ever since i just a second another I've had no need and have even got rid of the tv i used to have it hooked up to.

No reason to. I've always preferred ('needed') some type of media center (PS3, HTPC, Boxee Box) hooked up to my PC, which can do most of what my PC can. My monitor, as most are, is actually higher definition (resolution) anyway.

I do it on occasion but mainly to show home movies or pics on a larger screen.
