The hubby and I just put an offer on a house. It's the second house we've put an offer on. We ended up losing the first house to sheriff sale because of a bad realtor. This house is perfect for us. It's so beautiful, needs some TLC, and it's huge. We want to start a family.
We kind of have a crappy situation right now. We live in a house owned by his parents. We live there alone, it's just his parents house. They are pretty controlling with some things and we don't feel comfortable there. They like to have a say on everything that happens because it's "their" house. Plus it's a really old house that is just falling apart. There's parts of the floor falling through, bad wiring, just no room, a tiny kitchen (my head touches the ceiling and I'm only 5'8"), and it's just not pleasant to live there. I get sick and tired of everything breaking and going wrong and there's just NO ROOM.
We really would love to get this other house we put an offer on. However, I just found out today, there are FOUR other offers on it, and thursday afternoon, they are gonna take the highest and best offer. So I'm really stressed out trying to figure out if I should change my offer, and how much I should make it. I don't want to go too high or too low, but I want that house!
Any prayers or good luck comments are so greatly appreciated. I'm not sure if this is something okay to put on the forum, but it's in the social section, so if there's an issue, just let me know please and I'll remove it.
