I have CD's in the truck, put in $10.00 diesel, paid $9.00 for cheap, cheap beer, got $5.00 in gasoline and bought a newspaper for 1.00. Total $25.

Newspaper had a fun day at the river, free bbq incl.. Then we added gas to the four wheeler, put it in the truck and went up in the hills. Rode around for awhile--had some personal fun at the lake--went back to truck and built a fire and listened to cd's that were in the truck. Enjoyed the beer and got goofy...we had a ton of fun, like way back when we were dating....

$2 in quarters for parking meter (2 hours)
$3 for sodas (2)
$10 stuffed pizza slices (2)
$3 tip
$2 in chocolates
$5 sky lantern
=$25 total

One of the local beaches has an indie pizza place just across the boardwalk. Two hours of time on the parking meter. Leisurely dinner as the sun sets. Walk on the beach and play in the surf as dusk turns into night. Just before we leave, we light the sky lantern, let it fill with the hot air, and release it into the ocean winds.

I once read an idea about buying a disposable camera and running around taking photos with it. Drop it off at a 1-hour photo place and get lunch or a cup of joe. Return when photos are printed and check them out. Pretty cheap. Could be fun

Go fishing. A couple of bucks for bait. This assumes you have a fishing rod or can borrow from a friend. Sneak some beer on the beach.

Can I cheat because I have a membership to the zoo and to an exhibit right next to the zoo? Plus one guest goes free. It's totally been worth the $.

Great ideas!!! The membership is way cool--but it does fall in the realm of gift certificates, etc. as something pre-purchased (I asked my best friend and she said no as well.) However--you could still use that for post cheap date fun!!

These are all such fun ideas! I love the idea of spending so little because $25 is barely two movie tickets these days.

easy peasy. my husband and i regularly go on dates spending $0-25. ;3

dollar movie theatres are an awesome choice if you have them. pack a picnic to bring with you for before, during, or after the movie. ;3 if you choose before or after, take the picnic to a park. ;3

bike rides!

i think a fun date is just driving around. put half of it in gas, put the other half to food or something, and drive around listening to music. find a cool place to park, picnic, sing together, talk, watch the stars.
