Tribeca feels a little more bedroomy to me and could be more versatile with other decor.

if the wall is mint green...what color of carpet would look good? I don't know what color of furniture to go with white or black? I thought maybe black would be too harsh in a small bedroom...

What color is the floor? If the floor is light, dark furniture could be fine. You could try orange for some color, maybe turquoise. Grey would be ok, but it may look a little too monochromatic.

Tribeca is nice

I love how bold Tribeca is.

Tribeca!

I voted Lawrence, but they are both nice. And as far as color goes, whatever works with one will work with the other. The thing to worry about more is your art and accessories like lamps and bedside tables. And when going with carpet if it has a pattern, you need to really watch the patterns in your other fabrics.

I love Lawrence because of the light swirls, especially with the pillows.

well the carpet needs replacing anyway...and as for a lamp and bedside table that will need to be purchased. I think I will go with a solid color carpet..As for art I haven't picked it out yet, however ther are a few pieces from allposters.com I really like not sure they will work with everything though

ooooooh if it's a full carpet then I'd just do a light neutral. Orange and other bright colors should only be accents. If the carpet is a light neutral color, you can use gray metal accents (lamps, art, etc.) and get some variety without looking very monochromatic. And light neutrals on a large area like the carpet can help brighten and expand the room.

I might have to paint the walls light grey instead of mint green..I really don't see any colors that go with mint green walls, the bedding and carpet together...I'm actually going to ask an interior designer to help me decide on that one..

Neither are my style, but I chose the one I like best.
05/15/2011
I like tribecca better, but think the other one is a bit more sophisticated and male/female friendly if you live with a male significant other/spouse
05/15/2011
Either one would look great but I definitely prefer the tribecca.
05/16/2011
I found the tribecca more appealing. They're both very nice looking though.
