I buy natural, healthy food and treats. I voted now, but I will sometimes boil chicken or cook beef for them.

Nope. sounds fun though.

All the time! I used to make unsalted meat and rice for the dog. Now I have a cat, and I try to trim some fat or meat and cook it up rare and unseasoned for him sometimes.

Hoenstly i have enough trouble being motivated to cook treats or food for myself, and as much as i love my animals, i dont think i would go out of my way to do so for them. They are pretty content with the food and treats i provide for them currently anyways.

We don't, but a girl I work with does.

I don't have any pets at the moment. My landlady does though. She cooks chicken and rice for her dog, as well as bakes his treats. Her dog has health issues which is the main reason why.

ive never heard of this till now

I currently don't, but the idea has appeal to me. However, I use to buy homemade treats from a friends mother, and despite looking and feeling the same as normal cat treats, my kitties just wouldn't eat them. That's said, I'd still try.

I don't... but now I want to! :p

I read up on it & decided it was too challenging for me to feed 5 cats a healthy balanced diet, so I decided to wait until I am better able to devote that kind of time & care to it. For now, it's all I can do to feed them & myself!

No. Prescription dry dog food works better for my dog.

Well we do give him plain cooked chicken breast and ground hamburger once in a while, but lately he's all about that Freshpet soft food.
Honestly, we're just glad we found something he likes enough to eat a reasonable portion in a day...before he was hardly eating anything unless we cooked him some meat because my mom's boyfriend got him so spoiled it isn't even funny.
With the Freshpet, he'll down two to four bowls of about four tablespoons each. He's a pretty small dog, so it seems like it's sufficient...we tend to just feed him whenever he asks (he knows if he rattles the bowl a bit then he'll get fed, so whenever he's hungry he'll smack it around with his cute little paws.
He learned that clever trick from my cat actually. x3

Nope!! I would like to. But some things he just can't have.

I've got a recipe book for dog biscuits, but I haven't made them yet.

My cat loves treats. And I do it for him, because I'm a sucker and he's getting up in age.
04/22/2013
I don't but my mom has done it in the past for her dog.

Sometimes. =)

Sometimes we bake them cookies. Always funny when someone thinks they are for everyone and not just the dogs.

Well, I share homemade food, but don't make anything specific for my dogs...does that count?
04/23/2013
It's all store bought.
04/23/2013
According to our vet cats' diet has to be consistent: if they eat store-bought food they should not have anything else.

nope my snake eats worms so most I do is pick them out of my yard
04/23/2013
Lolwut? No, they get their canned food at night, and dry cat food is always available to them.
