According to one of today's SexIs Sex Feeds: 3.37 Million Adult Americans Share Sex Lives on Facebook

So I thought, lets do our own EdenFantasys poll to see how our numbers stack up compared to the poll that was referenced in the article.

I only use FB for EF related stuff, so a lot of my toy experiences may be shared. Thats pretty much shared anyways though.

I share interesting articles (they're rarely political, though- more academic or historical, sometimes new science news).
I also ask for advice on non-personal topics (like, which book should I read next).
And I wish people happy birthdays. That's about all.

It would be fun to share about my sex life on facebook - if it were just my friends. There are grandparents and teachers and church people on it, though, so that wouldn't be the wisest of decisions. I use my tumblr for that!

Nope, no sex life sharing from me on Facebook. I don't think many (if any) of my friends talk about their sex lives on there, either.

I don't really talk about my sex life on there, although I have shared a few sex related things. As for the rest of my life, I try not to give too much away, but I tend to share a lot of more mundane things. I understand that because I'm friends with his family and he's friends with mine, and so am I, that a lot of these people might be extra sensitive to sex related material involving either of us. His last girlfriend used to do stuff like post a picture of a ton of condoms with a caption of "just finished packing to come home and see you" in places where his siblings could see, and they were like "really?" So I try to keep that stuff reserved for messages and the like if I want to share anything with anybody. However I have uttered the phrase "oh the things I wish I could share on Facebook" on more than one occasion, lol.

I don't put any personal information on my facebook. If I post a link, it's usually about a youtube video or something. My status updates aren't ever really about what I am doing at all, just random statements. I don't really want to share personal information that could be used against me when I apply for a better job.

Although I've made political comments on Facebook, my husband's family is clinically insane (well, many of them consider themselves "Tea Party-ers" so consider the source) Some of them have actually Tattled on what I have mentioned on FB, to OTHER PEOPLE and "reported" it to my MIL, who NEVER uses a computer ("I don't know how to use them things." ) and she went whining to my husband, who also has never seen a FB page in his life.

My husband also thinks EVERYBODY is out to get anyone who posts things on places like Facebook, and insists (despite the fact that I have not posted anything on FB since some blizzard pics in January) that I have not been able to find a job yet is due to a few comments I posted about the Devil GWB on FB. (Mostly, a funny pic, with him saying, "I fucked you all. But, thanks for blaming it on the black guy.")

I don't put sexual information on FB. My kids are my "friends" as well as friends of my kids and my nephews and nieces and it would be inappropriate.

I have a facebook account, but I've stripped it of most personal info and I hardly ever use it, unless it's to upload some pictures. I just don't see the point and I don't think it's good to be checking on people's statuses. I definitely don't think kids or teens should have facebook accounts, especially ones that aren't monitored by the parents. It breaks my heart to read stories about teen suicides, cruel facebook postings etc...

I'm sharing less and less on FB. I certainly don't share my sexual activities on my real account. My Eden FB, well, it's spammed with things I like from this site

I pretty much share what I feel like sharing at any given moment. If I have a friend on my list that I wouldn't want to see the things I post, ( Like my enjoyment of anal sex for example thanks to EF and Eden Daily, lol) I have blocked them from seeing my posts. This mostly includes family. My friends all know that I'm open about my sex life. Once you've talked to them about butt plugs and spanking you can talk to them about any thing! lol

I share pictures and links I like and there's a bit of personal things when I chit chat back and forth with friends on their walls. I don't share even a quarter of what most of my friends/family do on there though.

Back when I was in high school, facebook had ways to list how you know someone, including "_____ and _____ dated, and it was _________" and "_______ and _______ hooked up, and it was ________." I thought that was hilarious and listed that I'd hooked up with all my friends who would take the joke, adding silly adjectives like, "______ and ______ hooked up, and it was smelly". I'm sure that information is out there somewhere.

As for my real sex life, I do not share very much. Although my roommates did upload pictures of my girlfriend and I having a dildo rhinoceros fight.

I share about everything EXCEPT anything sexual, on my personal profile. But I have a foot profile (I made it just to chat with my foot boys, post photos, etc), that I share about some sexual things on. Especially now that I've added some Eden friends to it

I remember when Facebook had that! Oh man my friends and I had some great stories between some of our pages lol.

Well, I don't really go into specific details about what my man and I do in bed(i.e we did this and that last night in bed", but I do post on general terms on Eden Daily and the EF page when there is a topic that comes up.
