Did anyone ever try to "connect the dots" on your skin? Do you find that your moles/freckles create shapes, patterns or even constellations? Were you made fun of as a child for your spotted skin?

YES, PEOPLE TRY TO "CONNECT THE DOTS" ON ME.....and I have so many freckles they can make whatever shapes they damn well please.

I have the Big Dipper on my left arm, the Little Dipper on the back of one of my thighs and in several areas my moles/freckles form triangles, squares and single straight lines. I was made fun of all the time as a kid because, of course, kids don't understand where all of those "spots" come from. My mom used to placate me by telling me they were angel kisses.
I know the Irish are susceptible to freckling, but they tend to be lighter and more abundant than what I have going on and it seems Italians have a susceptibility to moles...so it's kind of got me wondering what my true bloodline is.

That they do, it's super annoying. My sister used to hold me down and draw on me with sharpies. Had one boyfriend request to do so and was promptly told that he could not.

On my right upper arm there is a formation of freckles that if drawn out it makes a perfect triangle. I find it hilarious. That's the only 'shape' one though, all the others are scattered.

I only get freckles in the summer, and I don't like them. I don't mean that I don't like freckles on other people, I just do not like the way they look on me.
They always show up under my eyes and across my nose, people tell me I look cute with them, but it doesn't matter, because *I* don't like 'em. I've tried sunblock, nothing works. I'll always have them when the sun is out.
No one has ever tried to "connect" them though, maybe because I have such a small amount (just on my face) not sure.

Aww...I wish I had freckles on my nose and cheeks. I find that adorable.

I have a lot of freckles on my upper back, but no one has ever tried connecting them.

I actually have some freckles on my left forearm that look like a smiley face, and then some below my right knee that looks like the letter 'E' upside down.
I love doing it when I'm really bored, too.

Freckles are adorable!
My boyfriend has a bunch of spots on his back that I call the Milky Way.

I used to connect my dots in school, when i was bored

Hated them while growing up ... if anybody tried 'connecting the dots', they would have found the markers up their nose. Thank God they didn't.
I also have an unrequited vengeance against Judy Blume for her damn story 'Freckle Juice'. Before that I didn't hear much about my freckles. Afterwards nobody would shut up about them and began tormenting me about it. Thank you SO FUCKING MUCH, Blume. I'm going to piss on your grave when I find it.

Nah, I have WAY too many freckles! The marker would dry out...and that's just a waste of a marker.

As a kid, yes I did. And I was made fun of pretty horribly for the freckles growing up.

JR, I know just what you are saying. I have always had freckles all over for as long as I can remember. I get more in the summer, but they don't go away at all. I joke that for me a tan is just my freckles getting together.
I do have a mole or two, but nothing to speak of. As to the Irish side of the equation, I also have the Hazel eyes to go with the freckles. I teased my youngest daughter that she got her freckles on her nose becasue I kissed her there, and she passed it on to her youngest son. Both of them have only a spray of freckles across their nose and cheeks.
None of my siblings have freckles by the way. Their complexions are a bit darker than mine, so they just tan but have never freckled.

I was told they were fairy footprints, when I was younger. From this poem:

I still have the mark on the end of my nose,
Footprints from the fairy`s toes,
I think they`re speckled,
But some say they`re freckled.
There was a fairy on my nose!
