Both Macs and PC are good products. I'm just unwilling to pay the 3x premium that Apple seems to think they deserve. Their huge market-cap is based on the fact that they have been successful in convincing so many that paying 3x for something is in their best interest. When your profit 200-300% higher than your competitors, investors are willing to bid up your stock.

PC generally gives better quality products for a cheaper price, but Macs can be very useful in art-related fields.

Agreed, since that's what field(s) we work in. That said, we have to replace our macs half as much as our PC's, and with little to no spyware/malware/antivi rus blockers. That's the biggest thing Microsoft needs to get a handle on.

It depends on the purpose you use them for.

I had a high school that used exclusively Macs (it was a public magnet) and that's why I prefer them today.

They are both good for different things. I like my pc because there is more software for them, especially more games. Gamers and macs don't tend to get along very well! However my boyfriend wants a Mac because they are better for music recording. I will say this, I have an iPod and an iPad and I adore them both. On my iPad right now! But for general computing give me a pc any day.

I hate the Mac operating system for everyday/common use. However, I will concede that Macs are great for photo/video related things.
