My mother was not a huge fan of cooking but she always enjoyed making breakfast, so it was her go-to meal when we were out of ideas.
The typical spread was dollar pancakes, bacon, eggs, and buttered grits.

we did pancakes with ham and eggs the other night for dinner. It is a easy healthy meal for when you are having a busy day.

Sure... you can do a lot with the humble pancake... slap a 96 ounce steak on it and pour a nice pitcher of cold beer and you're good to go.

I've been wanting to do this, especially since strawberries are at their peak here in Florida ... pancakes, muddled strawberries, and sour cream ... *looks in fridge* Excuse me, I think I just created tonight's dessert.
BTW - My British Dom asked if we had Pancake Day at the beginning of Lent. Big tradition in England it seems.

we only do pancakes for supper when it's a special occasion... or Pancake day (Shrove Tuesday) -- yes we're Brits! And to us, pancakes should be a sweet thing...seems odd to have it with bacon and eggs etc.. but our kids enjoy that since we moved to the States. We typically do that for a Sat morning breaky for them. Whereas us grown-ups have BLTs

Yes please! And definitely eggs & bacon, as Dwtim brilliantly added

All the time.

Actually, I do usually have them on supper.

I would prefer to fry up a thin sliced pork chop (or have left-over steak) and serve that with eggs, toast, and a side of pancakes. I LOVE breakfast food for ALL times of the day!
Pancakes or even French Toast are like the dessert for breakfast food! Yummy!

I am not a breakfast fan..at all. Sometimes I am in the mood for pancakes and bacon, and it's always during dinner time, lol. That is once in a blue moon though.
