Not a big fruit fan as far as a topping for pancakes. Butter for sure. And I love 100% Pure Cane Syrup. It's got a distinct dark and rich flavor. Regular syrup just doesn't do it.

I make apple pie pancakes which are amazing. They have apples, toasted pecans (or walnuts), whipped cream, and butter on them. Nothing else needed. The sauce from the apples smothers the pancakes perfectly. They are also great with ice cream on them

I usually do butter and syrup, but if I have the option I'll load it up with chocolate or strawberries and whipped cream. I didn't think about eggs, but since I love getting viva la french toast or whatever at ihop and eat the eggs on them I voted that too. Oh god, and their cinnamon stacks are just so! Oh man, now I really want some! Ack! Almost as bad as googling waffles!
