Optical illusions - just a matter of perspective

Contributor: Jul!a Jul!a
I love seeing fun optical illusions. They were one of my favorite things growing up, and seeing elaborate ones always gets me excited. This one really messed with my head, the one with all the grass. It's just mindboggling what kinds of optical illusions we can make these days.

Anybody have any neat optical illusions they can share?

I've always enjoyed optical illusions. I especially like M C Escher's work. The most famous of which is probably "Relativity" (which is referenced in the earlier article). It has inspired numerous renditions of itself, including a scene in the movie "Labyrinth".

OOPS! My links aren't working. I'll try to fix them.

I guess it's considered an optical illusion, the classic "Young girl and old woman" image:

Those are great.

I also like ambigrams (like in Angels & Demons).

I made some from my daughters names. I can post them when I get home.
