Wow..that is a surprising list...they should measure these in volume of ticket sales, not dollars. Doesn't tell the whole story.
Avengers was ok. Alice in wonderland sucked and other than Titanic and Dark Knight, I didn't see the others.

I've seen all listed, and I'd have to say, out of those, The Avengers was my favorite.

The Dark Knight was definitely a favorite due to Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker being spectacular. The Avengers was right on up there as well.

Avengers, Dark Knight, Titanic. I forgot to press titanic though!
05/15/2013
I would have to say lord of the rings is my favorite of them.
05/15/2013
Harry Potter!
05/15/2013
Titanic!

Man, what a disappointing list. But I guess blockbusters are bound to be towards the dull end, since they have to be accessible to millions of people.
Toy Story 3 is honestly the only one here I've seen and really liked.

Looks like most are Sci-fi or Fantasy genre.

There are a few I really liked. Alice and Wonderland was a total disappointment though. I definitely feel like I wasted my money on the ticket.

Comic books, fantasy, and nostalgia (toy story 3) for me

I LOVED The Dark Knight.

I loved Avatar and I am a huge LOTR fan

Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Avatar & Titanic are my favorites that are listed here.
I'm surprised not to see Gone with the Wind, but then again, the dollar had such a different value in those days.

Yes, it's true I haven't seen any of them! But, eventually, someday, I hope to see some of them!

I haven't seen any of them in theaters, only later on dvds or something. I didn't really think any of them were better than other movies, just all about advertisements and fan groups.

If they account for inflation and the value of the dollar, the list of top grossing movies would be different...and would include Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind I'm sure. I'm a huge Gone with the Wind fan!

I thought the Avengers was a lot of fun.

Of that list definitely The Dark Night, the best superhero movie I've seen.
