Thorough.

That doesn't sound very fun, does it? Oh well. I want to include any info I feel is useful for customers without being long-winded. I'd love to keep people's attention while I'm doing it, but being "thorough" is my main goal.

For other people, I won't get specific, but I've seen reviews that strike me as: Direct, blunt, thoughtful, humorous, professional, cutesy, or impersonal.

Incognito!

Just because i tend to try to focous more on all the details and individual aspects of the toy itself and also what pleasure it can produce...and by me doing this it brings the lesser of the attention to me and leaves me as a sort of mysterious person behind the toy. I still do list my experiences with the toy but in the actuall review it's all about the toy.

Careful.

I try to be careful to include everything I need to in my reviews so the readers will know as much as they can about the product. I also try to not be baised in my review or limit which sex should/could use the item. I want to be careful to include all the details about he item including care of it after using it.

Without specific names, I would use the words lazy, competent, careless, humorous, and funny to describe some of the reviews I have read.

Unique

You know it is really hard to find one word and I guess mine would be unique. I try to make my review as interesting and tailored to me (while still taking into account any other possible ways the toy can be used by others from different sexual orientations) as possible so that the review reads as though I was really talking. I try to be throrough and careful as well but I think we are all concerened with the precision with which we describe a toy.

To describe some others I would use the words: intelligent, feisty, refreshing, dull, and humorous.

Complete.

It is tough to come up with one word .
For others I'd use funny, thorough, unreadable, detailed, interesting, dull.

Unexpected.

I would like to think that I would be willing to try anything once and I will try toys in just about any way I can think of before writing the review. Plus, you guys would probably be surprised to find out details about my regular life.

Clever

If I really enjoy a toy, the writing part of my imagination goes wild. If however the toy left alot to be desired, I try to stick to the facts & the clever & witty approach is less evident.

As for others, I too would use funny (like that smurf review), informative, convincing & OMG!.

Critical.

I try to fail all my toys. Which is why I love it when I can't fail them.

Obnoxious.

I talk way too much about really inconsequential stuff and take ridiculously unnecessary pictures. I need to learn how to be more succinct.

Casual.

And I could go thru the dictionary describing everyone else.

I was thinking about this thread this morning... it struck me that maybe some people approach writing their reviews like they approach their lives or the people in their lives... maybe I'm just rambling but there are a few that seem spot on. Maybe it's a general outlook thing?

But hey I'm trying to work on it.

Hypocritical.

As I write, I find that I do a lot of things that I come down on other reviews for doing and then I feel silly about it.

Adjectives I use for other review(ers): thoughtful, surprising, amusing, dry, spellcheckless, careless, wtf.

Ahhh... I have read worse, yes but I know I still need to work on it. But Shitty was the first word that came to my mind.

Well, I was going to use "irreverent" for describing my own toy reviews so, yeah, I think you're probably on to something.

Irreverent and casual describes me to a T.

Is spellcheckless really a word?? I would have used it if I had thought of it- not for my one ward, but to describe some I've read.. LOL
