On what day of the week were you born? And do you fit the poem?

Contributor: spiced spiced
There's an old English poem you may have read (or heard), called "Monday's Child":

Monday's child is fair of face
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay.

So...on what day of the week were you born? If you're not sure, you can look it up here: link

For discussion: are you anything like the poem "predicted" you'd be?

I'm a Thursday's child and yes, I usually feel I have far to go! Seems like there are never enough hours in the day to do HALF the things I want to do.

I'm a Saturday baby, and I've always disliked this poem because Saturday seems so boring! Working hard for a living is great and all, but couldn't I have gotten something a bit more interesting?

Sunday, and it depends on what mood you catch me.

And how much does it suck to be Wednesday and Thursday?

Hey now! I was born on Thursday and in a way it's awesome to have "far to go". Personally, I love to travel and besides, the adventure is all in the journey, not the destination.

I was born on Saturday. (A long time ago.) I honestly don't think I work that hard. LOL! At least not physically. Some of my work is physical, but most of it is cerebral and paper work, the hands on work is usually gentle.

Wednesday. I'm a lot happier than I used to be, but I've never been an optimist.
