Anyone else think that this years opening ceremonies have been boring? I like the Beijing ones they were awesome

We DVR'd it and are watching it now. I did just notice Abe Lincoln there so people need not worry about Vampires there tonight.

Which is surprising as one of the Twitter news thingies I follow said that these Olympics in England are going to be even better than China's.

But it could have been "ChinaSmack" too. They are whacky.

But no. Many of us here are doing a silent boycott for the UK Olympics.

But congrats UK!!! Third time hosting them!!! That is impressive!

I liked the giant Lord Voldemort vs the dozens of Mary Poppins-es. And the butterfly bicycle people. But overall? Beijing was better. Beijing was like... a hundred Cirque du Soleil performances put together.

I loved Beijing the kids where into all the colors and things, the Giant Lord Voldermort was cool they should have shot sparks from his wand like they were talking about

yeah the Beijing was a lot better I did like how they lite the fire though that was a cool idea but the show could have been way better all the people on tv were talking about how this guy said he was going to out do the last I didn't see it...lol
