If you still enjoy breakfast cereals, do you go for the "adult" stuff (Special K, Wheat Bran...etc) or do you still enjoy "kid" cereals (Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs, Frosted Flakes...etc)?
Okay, you are an adult now. Do you eat "adult cereals" or "kid cereals" in the morning?

Some mornings, I want a bowl of Captain Crunch Berries.. others I want Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and even still some mornings I want a bowl of Raisin Bran.
I'm a country boy though, so most of the time I'd rather have biscuits and gravy, or eggs and toast with meat on the side.

If I eat cereal, which is rare, I like the adult ones, even as a child, I preferred the adult ones.

Yeah, I would rather have the savory food for breakfast & eat the cereal as a snack. such as late night.

I try not to eat sugary cereals in the morning (protein/fat makes me feel more satisfied, like in an egg) but I would be lying if I said Coco Puffs weren't on top of my fridge. So is Special K and Shredded Wheat, though.

I never liked the sugary "kids" cereals, even as a kid. If I do eat cereal it's Raisin Bran or Honey Nut Cheerios usually.

Exactly. I like something with some real energy to it for breakfast and a bowl of carbohydrates just doesn't do it for me.

I like both, and since we have kids in the house we often have both, so I get to pick
04/15/2013
I go between cheerieo's, rice crispies and frosted flakes.
04/15/2013
I usually have a few boxes of cereals about, mostly grownup stuff but with one kid one thrown in like peanut butter crunch. I don't eat cereal that often though, there's no need as the shelf like is like a decade.

I don't eat cereal.

I don't usually eat cereal, but when I do, I absolutely refuse to eat children's cereal. I find them disgusting and have no redeeming value whatsoever. I won't even let my kids eat them, and the few times that they did, it wreaked havoc on their systems.

Both, mostly depends on what's in the house at the time.

I very rarely eat cereal any more but if I do I'll sometimes eat something like Frosted Flakes or Cinnamon Toast Crunch. More often than not if I'm eating cereal it would be Honey Nut Cheerios or Raisin Bran.
And more often than not I'm either not eating breakfast, or I just have some yogurt/fruit, or oatmeal.

Depends on what you count Mini Wheats as. They're pretty much all I've ate my whole life (except for when I was really little).

Cereal is hard for me to keep around since my half gallon of milk goes bad too quickly (thanks, New York groceries!). However, right now I have a box of Raisin Bran Crunch in the cupboard.

i love lucky charms, and off brand kap'n'crunch
04/15/2013
I honestly find a lot of the "kid" cereals to be too sweet and sugary for me. Of course, I prefer a good helping of fruit and yoghurt to cereal anyways...

For me, I grew up on adult cereal. I never really had "kid" cereal in my house. But I do enjoy indulging in sugary cereals. Especially as a dessert.

I mostly like the adult varieties, but sometimes I must have the Lucky Charms. I love 'em!
04/15/2013
I don't eat breakfast but when I eat cereal it is usually the full-of-sugar kids versions.
04/15/2013
I usually have "adult" cereal, since I am on a diet, and even though sugary cereal would be great....it wouldn't be great for my derriere! My go-to cereal is Multigrain Cheerios.
04/15/2013
It varies, I'm a sucker for generic Cap'n Crunch, buuuut I'm starting a healthier diet so I've bought a "adult" boring brand ;-p
04/15/2013
I never had kid cereal as a kid and only tried them when I went away to college. College was also the first time in 10 years that I had a poptart, lol.
04/15/2013
I used to love sweet Frosted Flakes, but don't eat them anymore because they get soggy too quickly. The only cereal for me nowadays is Quaker Oatmeal Squares with brown sugar.
04/15/2013
Mostly kids cereals because that's what we have...
04/15/2013
I like some of both I guess. I don't like the super sweets cereals, though I'll still grab a box of Nesquik when I see it on sale at the grocery store... But my favorites are mini wheats and special k with strawberries. Corn pops, cinnamon toast crunch and frosted flakes are good too. They're special treats for us to have at home though.
