Honestly....I bought the offbrand "Cocoa Pebbles" and they are bangin! Way better then the original. I think they are called Cocoa Dino Bites. Yum.

yeah, they're hit or miss. their blueberry miniwheats were terrible, their crunch berry was great and lucky charms is meh.

I always buy generic where I can. I get generic Special K. And recently finally found a generic for my All Bran!! Score!

We buy a combination of both. Some cereals are easily copied. For others, there's just no substitute!

I tried the Malt-O-Meals! They're about the same as far as taste. I've even tried the 'Store Brand' and didn't detect that much of a difference. My wallet did though.

I usually buy whatever brand is going for the best price, which is usually no name... the majority of them taste the same... the kids don't complain. I rarely eat cereal myself.
