Nighttime noises

Wind. Rain. Even playing soft music.

All of these are sounds I enjoy. They can even help me sleep.

But the weather is now warm enough that frogs have set up camp at the small water feature in my landlady's yard.

A water feature which is about 3 feet from my window.

Frog ribbits don't help me sleep .

The frogs haven't been too noisy lately; what we have here are backyard birds chirping away in the predawn hours...they're loud!

There's a car that thinks it's drag racing up my street all night...plus the neighborhood kids out of school. They're little jerks with no manners.

The owls are pretty cool, crickets and other small nighttime noises are soothing....but the coyotes--need to live somewhere else!!! They moved into the neighbor's hay field and are driving me crazy!!

You could put a fan on in your room, or sleep with the window closed, play music while you sleep.

The only noise I want to hear in the night is silence.. or my air conditioner. Lol.

Not really. I don't mind chirping crickets and frogs & my pets do make some noise. Also, we have a raccoon who comes up on the porch and makes loud noise at night & he doesn't bother me. I definitely hate rain or thunder though.

Lol. Frog ribbits help you sleep? I can see how. They have a relaxing sound that strangely enough, is one of the only continuous sounds that doesn't make me insane. I have misophonia so am extremely annoyed by sounds that are continuous, but frogs never have bothered me. Birds chirping usually don't either unless they're loud and hard to block out, which has happened & I have yelled "shut up!" from the back door. Lol.

I like insects and rivers and rain, but cars will wake me up!

The fan was on, and the window was closed. But today we found the offending frog, caught him, and moved him.

I do like light nature sounds. I've never had an issue falling asleep, but I did have an issue when birds nested outside my room and woke me up at 4 am by singing about it
