NIGHTLIGHTS. How many do YOU have around?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
A friend came over last night. Noticed we had night lights in every room...in fact, several in every room. I just don't like walking into the dark. These are LOW power LED nightlights, so cost almost nothing to run and don't waste electricity (Less then .2 watts).

It probably saves us money too, as we don't turn on bathroom lights just to go urinate, at night...the nightlight is bright enough.

Our friend was floored since he does not own a single nightlight in a BIG two story house.

What about you, do you have nightlights around? One, a few, a LOT? Why?

We don't have many night lights in the house. I know where everything in the bathroom is, so I don't often turn on the light in the middle of the night, which also helps because then I won't blind myself either. I think there are some night lights downstairs. We have more of the glow in the dark light switches around than night lights lol.

One LED light in the hallway between our bedroom and bathroom. I'm naturally clumsy, moreso when tired, so it keeps me from falling over my own feet at night.

Zero. I'm a pro at peeing in the dark. We don't really move around much after we've shut the house down for the evening. Both of us can see extremely well in the dark. I, better than he.

Nightlights have always bugged me, especially the ones that are motion sensored.

I have a few, I don't see well, and I hate having to put my glasses on to get up at night, so I need one or two in every room so I can move around without hurting myself. (I need to see the shadows/outlines of things)

I don't have any. Any light can make it hard for me to sleep at night... So much so that I often cover up my digital clock with something because it's too bright for me to sleep with.

We have both LED and regular 4W nightlights all over the house. I'm a night owl and it's better to move around illuminated by nightlights, rather than flipping light switches on and off wherever I go.

We have one in the bedroom, and it's to the point where I barely notice it anymore because the light is so weak. But it's just enough to see by if one of us wakes up in the middle of the night.

We have 2! One in our daughter's room and one in the bathroom so my bf doesn't stub his toe on the door frame anymore lol

We have the LED nightlights in every room also. They are for the kids. Mostly. It also helps us when we have to get up to take care of a kid, we do not need to turn on all the lights to see.

None, I like it to be dark at night. I do have a lot of sky lights in my house, so they are sort of a night light.

Absolutely none here.
Once reason we live in the sticks is cause we like the pitch dark at night. I just turn a lamp on if needed.
