Naps? Do you take them?

Contributor: MamaDivine MamaDivine
My husband drives me nuts, he takes naps daily after work. I get that he needs time to unwind and what not....but when we have errands to run and things to do, a 3 hour nap just isnt in the cards! Grrrr. Then I get crankiness when I try to wake him up lol.

Anyone here take naps?

I do. I am home and work from home. So when my son has to get up for school at 7 in the morning. If the baby is still sleep I will take one until she wakes up. If she is up then I will work for a bit then take one later. I am usually up till midnight or 1 am in the morning. So I need a nap when I can.

Never, unless I am sick. I have a hard enough time with insomnia already.

I occasionally take hour-long naps, it helps me refresh when I'm tired during the day. It's understandable that your husband wants to nap after coming home from work, but a three hour nap does seem a bit too long, especially when you need him to do something with you.

I never have time to nap. But I would love to, but if I do it will throw off my sleep the next night.

I love sleep. I take naps every so often, sometimes ending up asleep for three hours or more (and sometimes what starts as a nap ends up being a fifteen-hour sleep-a-thon into the next morning). I'm a night owl on my days off, and I get up super early when I work, so getting in naps here and there keeps me from falling into "sleep-deprived, super-moody, barely-focused Rin" mode.

But I can see how it'd be annoying if you need to get stuff done.

I am physically incapable of sleeping over 5 or 6 hours, so I almost always have a mid-day nap when I can
