The sunrise over the east coast, The Acadia national park shoreline in Maine, driving in any direction from Anchorage, Alaska. The waterfalls along the sides of the road have a very specific kind of beauty about them that shows the symbiosis between nature and civilization.

The sound of the ocean as it breaks along the beach.
The lush, green mountain islands of the Caribbean, surrounded by the bluest crystal clear water imaginable.
The light of the sun. Be it filtering through the trees deep in a forest or shimmering along the water or sparkling in the snow. The light of the sun makes everything beautiful.

I have one, really.
The fact that nature can take things back. Like when flowers poke out of concrete or how trees can tale out the foundation of a building. Even with all the damage we've done to the planet, if we let nature alone it would take the world back.
The fact to me is comforting and beautiful.

My first thought was "petrichor" - the smell of rain falling on dry earth.

Flora, fauna, and bodies of eater. Very broad, I know; however, nature is just so beautiful!

We love vacationing in the tropics and one reason for me is I always love seeing the beach/ocean and palm trees. I'm also very fond of tequila sunsets.

Rain, the mountains I can see from my house and trees.

This is so difficult to narrow down to 3. I guess I would say 1. Mountains - I'm very interested in places like Mt. Everest. 2. Marine life - My favorite animals are whales, dolphins, seals, etc. 3. The weather - I love how it turns from day to night and how the seasons change. I also love snow, rain, and wind.
I wanted to say space for one of my answers, but I guess that wouldn't be considered nature. Space is pretty damn intriguing to me. The sky, sun, moon, and other planets. The world is a pretty amazing place.

What a a great question! I'm currently taking a field bio class, where we spend a day a week at a local nature park learning about the various habitats and wildlife.
Flowering plants would have to be at the top of my list, as well as marine habitats/beaches, and wetland habitats as well! But i do also love pine and scrub habitats as well. Oh and mountains ranges!

Thanks, too bad I've been paralyzed by the choices! I cannot narrow it down. I was going to say, the great outdoors & everything in it, but I figured that was cheating! And I wanted to see what specifics people liked. (It's not always easy coming up with questions that aren't related to the site; I'm in awe of Martiniman & his ability to always have fresh questions!!!)
