I rarely had any music in my dreams, but lately it has happened a little bit more often... And I still can't really decide which is more amazing, when I hear a song what really exists, or when it is something I have never heard before at all, existing only in my dream!!! ~shivers

(Quick note: it has happened over history that well known people, like composers, scientists, artists saw, heard something in a dream, becoming a known masterpiece of composition, invention, piece of art etc.! Dare to do some research, it is really unbelievably mindblowing!!! ^^)

You are very lucky. It is incredibly rare to actually HEAR sound in your dreams. Most people can recall people speaking, but usually you simply know what they said, rather than recall HEARING what they said.

I can't always recall the exact nature of music in my dreams, but I've definitely had musical moments in my dreaming before. (I am a musician, so that may help). It usually only happens if I am in a period of really good sleeping and have been having vivid dreams on a regular basis.
