So the McRib is back. I saw it on a sign this morning, swerved across three lanes of traffic and tried to get one for breakfast. Obviously I'm a fan. Where do you guys stand on the McRib?
McRib is back. Who's excited?

I'll have to tell my hubby b/c he loves those things and is so sad that they're only offered one time period a year.
10/13/2011
i don't really do fast food so I don't care.
10/13/2011
Never tried one but they don't look appealing.
10/13/2011
I don't particularly care for ribs to begin with, so having one on a sandwich doesn't appeal to me terribly. I may take a bite out of one if my husband orders it, but I'm not going to order it.

I hate mcdonalds but I love that damn mcrib.. Ate them whule preggo with my 1st & now I'm addicted !!
10/13/2011
no thanks.
10/13/2011
Doesn't matter to me. I don't eat fast food either.
10/13/2011
Not for me! But I'd be willing to bet my ex-husband is excited about it.
10/13/2011
I tried it - didn't like it. It had onions on it, which I didn't like, and there was way, way, way more sauce than was needed.
10/13/2011
great
10/13/2011
The thought of it turns my stomach!!
10/13/2011
WOW I'll be heading over to McD right now then.

My understanding is that the McRib is only released at certain times in certain locales. I haven't seen it here in Northern Nevada for quite some time. Another McRib lover came up with a "McRib Locator" web site so fans can find the closest location serving this mystery-meat sandwich:

I've never had one myself. They are so unappetizing to me visually that I've never had an interest in trying one.

The "meat" they use for that sandwich was served quite frequently during my school years, I couldn't eat them then and I don't want to eat them now.

I don't care for it, but it is funny...one of the most popular items they sell, but then it "goes away" for YEARS at a time. What gives? Strange marketing.

Funny how many folks here say they don't eat fast food. How can one totally avoid it?

That cracked me up ! Holy cow, I can't think of a worse time to have sex than after powering down a McRib! But that would be a pretty sweet surprise.

I think I tried one when it made its original debut way back in 1982. Even as a kid it grossed me out because the texture of the meat was just wrong.
10/13/2011
I do not like it. I won't be ordering it. My sister loves it.
10/13/2011
I don't even care for ribs, let alone some "rib" patty that contains G-d only knows what. I never understood the obsession that some people have with the McRib.

That reminds me of that one episode on the Simpsons!

I've tried the tiniest bite of the McRib and all I got was a mouthful of barbeque sauce. I wasn't impressed by the sandwich. Perhaps I'll split one with a friend but I can't see myself enjoying it too much.

Dont care for the mcrib but we always wind up going to Mcdonalds more during monopoly season. My boyfriend thinks its funny to go pick up dinner and come back with a 50 piece nugget.
10/13/2011
gross

I can't be too judgmental about anyone's love for the McRib, though...I belong to the Spam fan club. Literally.

Icky McNasty.
I agree, the texture is just wrong.
If you like, more power to you! I won't be taking the last one!
