I Love Starbucks Mocha frappuccino's, but they are kind of pricey. Do you prefer Cheaper McDonald's versions, or the real deal?

Starbucks over McDonalds, but I'd prefer coffee from home lol
02/16/2012
Dunkin Donuts.
02/16/2012
Starbucks!
02/16/2012
I've only had McDonald's and Biggby's.
I am not a coffee person, so I don't really notice a big difference.
Nice thing about Biggby's is that they have lots of flavours.

I don't drink coffee. If i did, it would prob be McDonalds. I hear the coffee is supposed to be pretty good for the price.

Every time I have gotten coffee from McDonald's it has been really bitter.
02/16/2012
I used to do the McDonalds ones, and they were way cheaper, but they also are a ton more high in calories, so I switched to Starbucks.
02/16/2012
If I was going to choose it would be starbucks, but I'm not really a coffee drinker.
02/16/2012
I love McDonald's frappuccinos, and they are a price that I can stomach to pay for a cup of coffee. I'm sure Starbucks is better quality, but, its the principal of the thing...I just can't fork over that much cash for coffee that I can make better.
02/16/2012
Starbucks for me.
02/16/2012
Neither, I don't drink the stuff!
02/16/2012
starbucks.
02/16/2012
NO WAY I WOULD EVER PUT MY FEET INTO ANY PLACES LIKE MCDONALD'S AND ALIKE, simply because of the whole industry around it, "plastic food", animals kept in horrible ways, and it's nothing but EXTREMELY UNHEALTHY on the top of that!!!
Voted for Starbucks only because I have tasted their coffees and they are delicious...

starbucks didn't get big by having terrible coffee.

I don't drink coffee often, but when I do, it's Starbucks.
02/18/2012
I just generally try to avoid mcd's.
02/18/2012
Starbucks for sure, im a total starbucks junkie!
02/18/2012
wdanas
Neither if I can get better, but I far prefer Starbucks in that case.
02/18/2012
Not a coffee drinker, but I sometimes pick up breakfast at McDonalds.

I've tried McDonald's coffee-related drinks a few times (usually on promo days when they were free), and I never like them. Dunkin Donuts is my go-to place for coffee, and Starbucks is second.
02/18/2012
I love Sbux but if they keep raising their prices I'm gonna have to start cutting back. Ugh!
02/18/2012
Starbucks
02/18/2012
I don't care for much of what starbucks makes *gasp* and for the price I might as well have a few at mcd's lol
02/18/2012
I like Starbucks, just not the price of it. I usually make my own coffee at home though.
02/19/2012
I think I should get a job so that I can learn their secrets, and make them at home. lol
02/19/2012
Starbucks.
03/06/2012
Well I don't go to either, but you couldn't pay me enough to go to a McDonalds.
03/06/2012
starbucks
03/08/2012
I hate starbucks and since you only give 2 choices, I guess I have to go with McDonalds.
03/09/2012
Neither. We have a lovely local coffee shop/bookstore that I love to frequent. I'd much rather give my money to a local place.
03/09/2012
Neither, BUT, If I were trapped on a desert island, I'd rather eat the paper cup that a Starbucks coffee came in than a combo meal at McDonalds. I hate their food.
03/09/2012
Starbucks, though the prices of coffee for both are ridiculous when I can just brew up a cup at home.
03/09/2012
Starbucks!

True, but I just bought some STARBUCKS K cups and brewed at home...and it was the WORST coffee ever. Going to donate the whole box to a friend..or to the dumpster.

03/15/2012
Starbucks, but since there isn't one close to me now I go to Caribou.
07/20/2012
Starbucks deff. But I usually end up going to Mcdonalds, Biggby, or Tim Hortons cause the closest starbucks is an hour away.
07/20/2012
Starbucks for sure, but I have no issue with McDonald's coffee when I'm broke. Either place though, I usually just get actual coffee. No fraps, no weird flavors, just coffee.
07/20/2012
Meh, neither for me. They're too expensive because both options add up when bought frequently. Sometimes I'll have fun making my own fancy coffee drinks at home with a blender, but for everyday I'm more of a tea person.
07/20/2012
I don't go to either - most of my caffeine comes from home, or I buy drinks at the fair trade-focused, student-run coffee shop on my campus.
07/21/2012
I like both. Starsbucks for coffee and McDonalds for food.
07/21/2012
Starbucks, but the may be because I'm in Seattle and there's a Starbucks on every corner.
07/21/2012
McDonalds.
07/21/2012
I used to be like blah all I will drink is Starbucks... and yes Starbucks is better but I've been very cheap lately and McDonalds price make it easier to spurge and treat my self
07/21/2012
Mcdonalds serves the worst products on the planet. So, no on them out of principle. Starbucks always seems overpriced and not as flavorful. I like getting plain, black coffee fresh at a gourmet grocer. It's less than 2$ for a large cup of tasty goodness.
07/21/2012
I'm not a coffee drinker I like Frappes. I've had a starbucks one and they gave me the wrong flavor so that really didn't give them a good standing with me, and then there's the fact that Starbuck's (supposedly) doesn't support the troops or the war going on so I have decided no more starbucks for me. McD's all the way!!
07/21/2012
Starbuuuuuuuucks! White chocolate mocha.
07/21/2012
You need an "other" choice.
07/21/2012
starbucks
07/21/2012
I like the coffee from the Tea Leaf & Coffee Bean the best. But, if I had to choose between McD's and Starbucks, I'm going Starbucks all the way! I hate everything about McDonald's including their coffee

07/21/2012
In my opinion McDonald has the best coffee in the world lol
07/21/2012
come to think of it, i don't think i've had mcd coffee
07/21/2012
I like both.
07/21/2012
This actually depends on how much money I have at the time. If money doesn't matter, then Starbucks.
But both are good.
But both are good.

Neither! Tim Hortons Ice-Cap! it's a Canadian thing
07/22/2012
I don't usually have coffee beverages, but McDonald's is more in budget.
07/22/2012
If I simply want caffeine, I'll buy coffee or something else caffeinated at the grocery store - if I'm actually ordering coffee, it's as a treat so I'd buy the nicer stuff.
07/22/2012
Starbucks alwayssss
07/22/2012
Neither for me because I don't like coffee. But if I did, I'd have to go with McDonald's, just for the price.

07/22/2012
Starbucks is just... better. They're expensive, yes, but just... better.
07/23/2012
I voted McDonald's because I've never been to a Starbucks.
07/23/2012
If I actually went to either of them, it would be McDonalds. Starbucks is overrated.
07/23/2012
Starbucks
09/01/2012
I'm guilty of choosing mcdonalds.
09/01/2012
I love Starbucks for any kind of coffee, fancy or regular. I usually only get regular coffee there actually because of the cost, and I love their bold roasts.
09/01/2012
I would choose Starbucks because I get stuff like chai tea lattes that McDonald's doesn't offer.
02/06/2013
Wawa
02/06/2013
Starbucks.
I drink the Green and Chai teas and USED to drink the Dark Chocolate Truffle before they discontinued :x
McDonalds is a bit disgusting to me - no coffee flavor in the drink at all.

Maybe it's just me or just the Starbucks I've been to, but I'm always treated rudely there, had my order forgotten...so, I'm just not a fan of Starbucks.
02/07/2013
I wouldn't much call Starbucks "the real deal"... but, I rarely ever step foot in McD's, and never order, they have the worst food and even WORST hyper-sweetened drinks. Just because there's starbucks on every corner (I live in the Northwest), it makes it easy to stop in and chill since they usually have a nice atmosphere.
02/07/2013
Starbuck's please.

Like the bookstore around the corner v/s Fox books.

If you're talking about frappuccinos, I prefer them from Starbucks, but I really only care for the strawberry flavor. If I want something cold, I'd rather have the iced cafe mocha. I tried one of the frap knockoffs from McDonald's once and the one I was served was 75% whipped cream, which I found odd, considering I ordered it without whipped cream.
02/07/2013
Neither for me, I don't drink coffee.

We don't have a Starbucks here, so McDonald's

I have never had mcdonalds coffee... so i have to say strabucks.
02/07/2013
McDonalds = barf. Pretty much the worst "food" possible. Their "coffee" tastes like battery acid filtered through used cat litter.
Since the only other option you gave is Starbucks, I pick that. But my french press beats either of them, and doesn't suck up all our money. I have yet to find any place in the US that makes better coffee than we make at home.

02/07/2013
def needed to be an other option, I'd never buy coffee from a place that fills it up with sugar and artificial syrups.
02/07/2013
Starbucks but that has a lot to do with it being conveniently located at my campus.
02/07/2013
Between Starbucks and McDonald's, I'd pick Starbucks. I'm a sucker for a salted caramel mocha. For regular coffee though, Dunkin' Donuts all the way. Light & Sweet!!
02/07/2013
My coffeepot...or Starbucks
02/07/2013
Starbucks.
02/09/2013
I rarely buy coffee anywhere, so if I'm going to, I want to make sure it's delicious- Starbucks.

McDonald's is fine. It's cheaper and easier to get.
02/09/2013
Not a big fan of coffee but I like pantries and hot chocolate from McD.
02/09/2013
NEITHER! I live in Washington, the place where there are 20 coffee stands within a 5 mile radius! There are much better places to get great coffee!
