After hearing my friend say she never ever has sex after a argument with her husband, I wondered if this is common practice.

We live too far apart for us to have makeup sex after every fight. If we fight while I'm there, though, we do have makeup sex.

It always gets our minds of the fight and allows us to love and address our anger at the same time, so it can be pretty fun.

I've always been curious about the type of relationship chemistry that would make that happen like in the movies -- yelling one minute, at it the next. I guess I've been in a relationship like that?

I don't want to have sex after a fight... our fights are more silences anyways.

If I'm that pissed off at him, why would I sleep with him?

I can answer that. We rarely fight, but if I am "pissed" about something, it pays to remember, you are pissed with someone for a different opinion, or action, whatever....but you are pissed at the person you love. Expressing that love makes the "issue" usually shrink to the minor issue it was from the beginning.

Being silent to one you really love is pretty punishing, if you think about it. I never felt it "fixed" anything, let alone the "cause" of any fight.

In the movies...they fall into bed during the argument! Seems goofy. Not my idea of foreplay, for sure.

I put no, but for a different reason. If we're fighting, sex is the last thing on our minds. It doesn't work like that. We bicker and argue, and that's fine. We can have sex after. If we're really fighting, we go to our separate sides of the bed, and cool off. It takes a lot for us to get to that point, but it does happen. I guess it all depends on the argument.
