In short, the people who frequently come by your home. Do you know anything about them? Do you know their name? Do you ever speak about your life with them...or are they just a "moving fixture" in your life?
Do you know your mail carrier, UPS delivery person...etc?

I don't know them, but I despise them because they don't deliver my packages... ever. You know, their job??

I speak to them but do not know their names. My freaking UPS guy is hot I am happy sometimes when I get UPS surepost and it ends up not going to the post office then I can see his sexy butt. When I see him out while walking he will wave to me and I to him.

No - we never see them. The packages are left at the door.

I don't know anything about the UPS man, I know what he looks like, that is it. The FedEx man makes me giggle, he runs.. Everywhere.. He runs up to my door, sets the package down, knocks really fast, and runs back to the truck. I've seen him run in the gas station here to get a soda, and run back out to the truck. He's probably the seemingly coolest delivery guy so far. I bet he gets his route done QUICK!

I don't know anything about any of the delivery people that come to our house. I have had a few quaint run in's with our postal guy and he is very nice. There is a sub driver who delivers sometimes, it's always the same guy when it's not our normal driver, and he is very rude. My normal delivery guy will not knock on my door if he has package because he knows I have a three year old and a one year old, and I appreciate that, but he will make some effort to make a little noise so I know he has dropped something off at my door, most of the time, he will honk at the end of the driveway, the sub, I have watched him multiple times, he will just throw my packages on my porch and leave, I've never met him, when we have been outside and he has come he doesn't wave, nothing. So I don't know our drivers name, nor do we have conversations, but if we are outside he will say hi to my son and such.
Our FedEx driver, has only come once, we live in a single wide trailer and she knocked on the side of the trailer, where our driveway sits and dropped our package off there, not at my front door, on the side of my house.
Our UPS driver is always different and i'm not sure what to think of them. They always leave my package at the front door without knocking or anything. One Time my mom sent me a 20lb box of food and other sorts for my kids and I and even though I weigh 110lbs soaking wet, I can lift a good 50-60 pounds, so thank god for that, because no one offered to help. I even walked out as he was still here because I heard him on the porch and of course the box states how heavy it is, he just looked at me and left. I would've hated it if I was a little old lady, time I got to the door he probably would have been gone and I would of been stuck trying to lift a 20lb box by myself, haha.

We have a usual mail man..he brings our dogs treats, so we really like him.

I chit chat with my mail lady. She's very nice. I don't see the UPS guy. He's very quick with the deliveries.
06/12/2013
I don't now. When I was growing up we knew the mailman enough to chit chat and give him Christmas fudge.

Yeah I don't know either the mail person or the ups guy. To be honest I don't even think I've seen the ups guy before....

I know our mailman very well. I know his name, where he lives, and his likes/dislikes. He is friendly with my kids, my dog, and I see him at the grocery store often.

I don't know them by name. I used to know my UPS guy by name...once he even warned me to take a different route because of a train. LOL. Oh...and he used to bring my mom brittle in the winter from his wife. Super nice guy.

I don't know mine except that he's the yummy one. He's always friendly with the dogs even my mean Chihuahua. The female mail person only wants to mace him, she doesn't even deliver the mail when they're outside.

I only know my USPS mail man and I can not stand him. He is the biggest asshole ever. He's been our mail man for years and he would deliver all of my mail ripped. Just mine. Never my parents. My magazine covers would be ripped. Envelopes would be ripped. We called the post office to complain and he still did it. We have a weird driveway and live at the end of a dead end so he would use our gravel parking pad to turn around in, even after we asked him not to because he sprayed gravel EVERYWHERE. One day after school, I parked my car on the edge of the parking pad to block him and he hit my car and still turned around in the gravel.
Dick.

I know the main guy that delivers for our street (USPS), he's pretty friendly and has yet to say anything about the deplorable condition of the yard so I usually say hello to him.
I'd say he delivers the mail about 4-5 times out of the week on average.
I hate it when other people deliver it though, they just shove it in the slot and half of it winds up torn somewhere. Luckily it's usually never anything important, at least.

I know our regular mail man. The delivery truck drivers are always in a hurry though. I know a few of their faces but not their names or anything.

Our usual mail guy is pretty awesome but he can be kinda cranky sometimes. We know his name and sometimes we chat a little here and there on good days.

I don't see much of the UPS or Fed-Ex delivery folks, but I know our mailwoman's name and we will chit chat from time to time.

I don't know any of them. We have community mailboxes here, so I live, like, three blocks from the mailbox. The only time a postal worker comes to my house is if the package doesn't fit in one of the Package Lock-boxes, and even then, they just drop the box off, maybe ring the doorbell, and walk away. So many times our packages have been taken to other peoples' houses. (Once, they delivered a package of mine to an empty house, For Sale sign and everything out front.)
As for UPS or FedEx, UPS usually drops the package then knocks and walks away. FedEx has a tendency to just drop it and leave. If it has to be signed for, they have a tendency to just leave a, "Failed Delivery," sticker on the door. Seriously. There was one day I was walking to the kitchen and looked at the door (it has a glass panel) and there was nothing there, walked back to my room an hour later, and there was a "Failed Delivery," sticker on the glass. Failed? They never even tried.
