Don't you just love the weather predictions?

Okay, so last night I'm checking my local weather online to see if anything major is going on. All that's predicted is some light snow flurries. Yeah okay weather you FAIL at your predictions! I just woke up this morning wondering why I couldn't see out my windows in the apartment. I assumed maybe just moisture had formed or something. I kept hearing this weird rumbling noise or something, thought maybe I was going a little more crazier than normal. So I head out towards the front of the apartment building and guess what, holy mother blizzard! Complete white out, at least 40mph winds and so on. I'm thinking oh this is just great, yup I really wanted to wake up to this crap.

So here's the kicker, I jump online to check my weather forecast. Thinking they could give me an update on this snow. SO apparently in my local area I am currently experiencing light snow with 3mph wind. Mind you this "mini blizzard" as I will call it has been going on for over an hour already. I say mini blizzard because it looks like its only going to last a total of 2-3hours.

So suffice to say, I love the weather forecast being so accurate! Especially the part of telling me there is light snow with little wind, when I'm looking outside at white out and consistent 30pmh+ winds. FAIL!

So has the weather prediction ever annoyed you like this?

Nah, I never pay attention to forecasts. They've been wrong since the day I was born and I don't think it's ever going to change.

I hate snow so I'd be pretty pissed off if I woke up to something like that.

Living in Southern California our weather is pretty much the same all year long. Although I do miss the snow.

We had the opposite. Big storm! Bad weather! We got a quarter inch of rain. It may have gusted at 5mph during that, too. Maybe.

Florida is pretty predictable - you know it's going to be hot and rain at some point. The pressure changes two or three times a day. You might get a day below 60 this winter. It's the pressure changes that affect people more than the hurricanes.

Frankly, the eternal summer has worn thin.

Ha! Like my forecast that said "winter weather advisory, storm warning" with a 70% chance of 1 inch of snow?

I totally agree! Here in Seattle it rains all the time, so I don't need a weather forecaster!

This is us so far today. I almost can't believe it's actually sticking, although it won't for long since it's supposed to be back up to like, 40 in a few days.
