Great topic!

What do you miss most about being a kid? Being able to wear whatever I wanted without getting weird looks. If I don't get to wear that tacky sweater with cats all over it, I'm going to throw a tantrum!

If you had to work on only one project for the next year, what would it be? Fixing up our new house. It needs a lot of work and I'm the handy one in the relationship.

What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up? Where the red fern grows.

What is one of your favorite quotes? "Fear me, love me, do as I say... and I will be your slave." Jareth the Goblin King (The Labyrinth)

If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve seen before, what would you paint?
The French Quarter in New Orleans. It is the most beautiful and lively atmosphere that I've ever been in. I would go back in a heartbeat.

What is one of your favorite quotes?
"Her favorite song will say more about her then her mouth ever will" I truly believe this. If people listened to the songs I play, I play them by my mood. The lyrics of music are what speaks to me the most. If I could, I would tell people my problems through lyrics.

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?
Marilyn Monroe. I'm pretty obsessed with her.

What do you miss most about being a kid?
Lollipops become cigarettes, Pepsi becomes vodka, undies become g-strings, pills become overdose. Wow does life change much? Remember when getting high meant swinging at the playground? When protection meant wearing a helmet? When the worst things you could get from boys were cooties? When your Dad's shoulders where the highest place on earth and your Mom was your hero? When race issues were about who ran fastest? When War was only a Card Game? When the only things that hurt you were skinned knees? Back when goodbyes meant only until tomorrow? And we couldn't wait to grow up. what happened?

Remember when you thought boys had cooties...when friends were new, dreams were un-shattered and worries few...when recess was too short and life was too long...decisions came easily without need to belong...when storks delivered the babies and passions weren't so strong...friendships were un-broken...right was right, and wrong was wrong...when bad things didn't happen...when only skinned knees brought tears and the night light in it's socket quieted all our fears...when farewell meant just for summer and real friends didn't part...the fun went on forever and never left a broken heart.

I may do a lot more later.

@RomanticGoth,

I LOVE the Labyrinth. Seriously. I watched it a million times when I was younger. I probably could quote you the whole movie and definitely know every song. I love that movie. That is a very good quote.

Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best?
Getting a criminal record-it forced me to drop out of teachers college when I never wanted to be a teacher anyway, and now have a great job that I love as an editor.

What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?
Donating a kidney. I never felt pain like that before; it got me to complain a lot less and be stronger.

What was the first thing you bought with your own money?
I saved most of it for school, but wasted a lot on beer when I first got a job

What is something you learned in the last week?
I learned about the social entrepreneur group Ashoka

At what age did you become an adult?
I don't think I am yet...

What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
Of all the things, I dread mopping most because it seems like mopping instantly dooms me to spill orange juice all over. I'm not very Murphy's-law prone, but as soon as I mop, some Florida's Natural materializes in my fridge, and then I spill it.

What is your favorite form of exercise?
My body is suited best to biking, and I love that I can combine transportation with exercise. Biking makes me feel so good.

If you were immortal for a day, what would you do?
If by immortal you also mean undamagable, I would definitely jump off a skyscraper. I always think when I'm up on edges that jumping down would be awesome---but I would *not* be all about the moment where the jump turns into a fall. So if my bones were unbreakable and my flesh was unbruisable, I would probably just ride the elevator up and jump off the Sears Tower all day. (Being sure to stop an hour before midnight, just to be on the safe side.)
