I'm not one bit surprised by this invention. I used to live in the San Francisco Bay Area where a lot of other Chinese women wear long gloves while driving; and sun visors with extra large brims when they're out in the sun, even for just a short walking distance from their car to the grocery store.

Same on my campus. I see girls walking everywhere with umbrellas if there's even the smallest amount of sunlight.

Would you be surprised to see one at a beach near you? Would you wear one?

...it looks sort of silly, but considering melanoma and other skin cancers can hide in hair and go unnoticed for lord knows how long it could be a good idea.
I know I tend to have bad reactions to a lot of sunscreens when I put them on my face, it feels like it's burning my skin there but it's fine everywhere else usually so I could see maybe wearing something like that as a sort of last resort as long as it was printed to resemble a face/skin/hair.
Like using Snuggies in public, and the mass takeover of Crocs and Ugg boots? xD
I mean I wear crocs(ones that look like slingback versions of black ballet flats though) to walk the dog or really casual places like the dollar store but unless you're a kid or have a job where you're on your feet a lot I can't see wearing them most places.
Disclaimer:
My apologies to fans of Snuggies, Crocs, or Uggs...I personally don't care for them much when they're worn in public, but everyone has different tastes. ^_^
