On this forum's list of topics, next to the "#of posts" - there are these little yellow light bulbs and +numbers - can somebody tell me what they're for?

Lightbulb means you had looked at that discussion and others had responded since you last looked. The numbers are how many people have responded after the last time you looked at the thread.
