Disclaimer: I thought I posted this before, but I didn't see it when I did a search. I think it probably didn't go through. Sorry if this is a double post, but I certainly didn't mean to!
Recently I decided to buy an Omega juicer from Amazon. I had heard about the detoxing effects of juicing raw fruits and vegetables and wanted to try it out for myself. I have a Ninja blender but didn't want to drink the juice with the pulp. Anyway, I'm really enjoying my juicing experiment. So far, I've tried carrot-based juice with apple or pineapple for flavor, sometimes with a bit of ginger thrown in, and it is lovely. I've even gotten my dad hooked on juice! I do not drink large amounts (12 oz at most) and I drink it before or after eating a meal, due to the sugar content (yes it is natural sugar, but it's still sugar and it affects blood glucose.) I've only been at this about a week, but so far my skin is more clear/"glowing" as my husband says, and I think I have a little more energy. So that's a good start! I would be interested to hear your thoughts and experiences with juicing?
