There are some current to marginalize holidays for their human flaws, such as Thanksgiving representing the beginning of the European takeover of North America and the downfall of the indigenous peoples of this continent, and the obvious animal rights issues (Turkeys and Pigs...despite cows being kind of happy today, and HAVE been heard whispering "eat more white meats").
I, however, am "old school" and think we have MUCH to be thankful for, and thus wish to shout out a "HAPPY THANKSGIVING" to all those in EF "land"....on the most "American" of holidays. One that is amazing just for the fact that it is the MOST widely accepted and equally celebrated among Americans of ALL nationalities and faiths, backgrounds and beliefs....even, so I hear from friends who ARE of Native American ancestry, Native Americans!
THUS, do you care to join me in saying, "HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL"!!!!
