I rarely get my hair cut short, since it's actually MORE tricky to care for when it's anywhere above my shoulders. Currently, it's about two inches past my shoulders... so kind of a long medium or a short long. It'll grow to the middle of my back if I let it.

I am a female and because my hair is so thick and curly I have to wear it long. I cut it short once and I looked like a poodle. Never again. My hubby likes it long and I now appreciate it much more.

Mine's a bit below my shoulders, still deciding if I want to cut it again or let it grow out. Never go real short usually so it barely brushes my shoulders.

My hair is medium-long and I'm trying to grow it longer. My hair is thick and wavy, so it's much easier to deal with when it's long. If it's shorter than shoulder length, I actually have to style it to make it look decent enough to go out in public.
