Is there any song that just really gets on your nerves when you hear it?

For awhile, I couldn't stand anything by Ke$ha, then I learned to accept hearing it or Lady GaGa since I live with a very flamboyant gay man who loves his pop divas.

I still can't stand T-Pain. What about you guys?

Macarena. Granted, I don't hear it often anymore, but that has to be the single most annoying song ever recorded

There is a song that plays at work all the time lately. It is on every Xmas cd we get sent. I just googled and it seems it is by Marvin Gaye. I normally like his music but this one I hate.

I dont know why, maybe it is because I hear it so much.. maybe it is because we have white snowflakes.. I dont know. I just know it makes me nutty

Anything by Hootie and the Blowfish. That band makes my hair stand on end, and not in a good way.

The little lion man... That song has been getting played so many times that I almost cut the cable to my stereo.

Funny, I love that song. I really can't stand Pink or Lady Gaga.

Christmas music -- retail work after college killed my tolerance stone dead. Especially "Winter Wonderland" as played on the steel drums.

Anything by these two makes me want to gag. There is no meaning in mainstream music anymore, let alone talent or creativity.

U2?!? Wow, we have a huge difference in music tastes! U2 almost always improves my mood.

Country music for me. To each their own, but I CAN'T STAND 99% of country or rap music.

Now if only U2 would record a country rap song.

Hah, it's funny you said Ke$ha. I saw the title of this thread and the first thing that popped into my head was her. Ugh.

Umm, right now it's Whip My Hair by Willow Smith. AHHHHHHHHHHH!
..And I still can't stand Lady Gagme.

Really though, I could go on but I won't because I would be here for a while.

Pretty much anything deemed pop music in the last 10 years. ESPECIALLY gaga, spears, shakira, simpson, anything with the word boys in it, anything by somebody under 18 excluding the song daniel cook wrote for his mini show and 99% of country.

YES. I heard that Willow Smith song once and that was enough!

Also, much of the mainstream garbage from the mid - late 90s.

PS: y'all need to stop hating on Country music.. you don't know what you're talking about!

*cries* My daughter likes it.
Her father showed it to her. Grrr.

I agree, there was a lot of garbage in the 90s too. One that stands out for me right now is Chumbawumba..or however you spell that!

oh yeah! Ke$ha could be the worst. Katy Perry tends to get on my nerves as well. However, I am a Gaga fan. There are a ton of awful pop/punk-techno bands that I am forced to listen to at work too...skip.

That song always made me mad every single time I heard it, LOL! It reminded me of people who would interrupt others when they were deep in thought, lost in their own reveries, and make ridiculous demands of them to smile. Grrrr . . .
