Is it too soon to start Christmas shopping?

We are in the month of June and I'm ready to start my Christmas shopping. Does anyone else start their holidays super soon?

I think it's the perfect time to start shopping! I'm sick of waiting until the last minute and being in a crazy rush!

I usually shop last minute. I also am not a fan of the holidays, so I try not to think of them until it's required.

I usually start shopping around Halloween. But hey, the quicker you get it done, the better.

I am not into Christmas gifting, it's really the one thing I hate about it. For years I didn't celebrate (my dad died a week before Christmas when I was 14... and THEN I went into retail!) but my husband insists. Which is dumb, because he works like crazy around Christmas and can never find the time to go shopping for me, which I tell him, please just let's not do this this year... but no. He HAS to.

OMG, even talking about it now is stressing me out...

Give me the tree, and the decorations, and the parties... but please don't make me exchange gifts!!

I'm always buying Christmas gifts this early. Way less stressful at the end of the year

I defintiely don't think it's too early. If I had the extra money, I'd probably have started by now.

i don't think it could ever be to soon. just think when everyone else is running around like a chicken with their head cut off and you will be sitting back drinking egg nog.

I started for the next year one year BEFORE Christmas. (Like I started Christmas shopping for Christmas 2009 in mid December 2008.) That's my record.

Never too early to start. It's what I should be doing but, we mainly just buy for our kids. I always end up wanting to give them their gifts early when I start early, lol. I try to start birthday shopping a couple months in advance.

I think it's a great time to be thinking ahead! I've been thinking about stashing stuff in my closet and saving it up for Christmas time. That way when the time comes I'll have a ton of goodies for everyone and then I can spend money on myself. LOL. I'm so bad. There's just so much cool stuff that comes out around the holidays that I really want but don't get. My dad gave me a $5 calender that was on sale last Christmas for goodness sakes. I usually spoil my mom rotten and get some nice stuff for my boyfriend.

I want to save up for Venus body butters, Cake, and things like that. I'm not sure if I can save though. I have a big problem with saving...

It's never too soon, matter of fact the after Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwa nzaa/etc. sales can be a godsend if you have kids or a big family to buy for.
I tend to buy gifts throughout the year so it's not as much of a shock to my budget though. (seriously, post-holiday credit card bills or trying to save up again...ugh -_-; )
