Does it seem like we can NEVER keep up with technology? I just recently got my laptop (last year sometime) and it had windows 7 on it. I am now fully educated in windows 7 and know all the ins and outs....and I'll be damned if hubby didn't just announce to me that they are coming out with a windows 8...

Yeah, I read about that as well. If it ain't broke I am not going to fix it. I have a $1200 laptop and it works good for me. I will get another one when this one breaks, there will be updates for 7 until then.

lmao, Im right there with ya! Mine will run until it can't run no more!

My other laptop (my first one) is actually sitting under my tv on a stand hooked up to the tv and we use that for surfing online/netflix etc. I had to buy this one because that old one had a busted screen and would burn up too fast. So its running on fart fumes in the livingroom....honestly surprised its still going LMAO!~ But hey, it works! Ill keep that thing runnin if it requires duct tape damnit LOL
